IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL ANTHEM PATIENTS:
WE TAKE ANTHEM PPO INSURANCES AS WE DID BEFORE. Anthem erroneously sent letters to many of our patients stating that we are no longer within network. We believe this error may be associated with a recent update of our contract with them. Anthem has notified us that this is an error on their part, and we are working with Anthem to correct this issue.
IT'S NOT TOO LATE FOR YOUR ANNUAL FLU VACCINE!
California influenza season usually runs from late November until late spring. We are booking Saturday morning flu clinics until for our families looking for the convenience of obtaining a quick weekend flu vaccine. Please call us today to schedule, as these are popular appointments! When appropriate, we can also give the influenza vaccine at any doctor visit, and we will vaccinate siblings if they come along to an appointment.
PORTAL
It's very easy to sign up for the Patient Portal! You can use our Portal to access and print information about your child, including immunization records, measurements and vitals, upcoming appointments and most recent well child physical date. You can upload and download school forms. You can also communicate via encrypted email with the staff (non-urgent only). You can also save a stamp and pay your bill directly via the portal.
Call our office to ask a staff member to sign up for the Portal. Once you have signed up, you can access our Portal through https://gpeds.pcc.com/portal or by using the button on this website.
AFTER-HOURS URGENT QUESTIONS
We answer many common questions about childhood illnesses and conditions and have a lot of fantastic information on this website (including a dosage chart for common childhood medications): What To Do When Your Child is Sick.
If this information does not answer your questions, the pediatricians of Glendale Pediatrics take turns being available for you after hours and on the weekends to answer urgent questions.
If you aren't sure what to do, we want you to know that we are available to you to help guide you. Please know these are times when we are getting home after work to care for our own families and to rest before the next work day. If it's a true emergency, please call 911! If your question is urgent and requires a call back within 20 minutes, press 1. If your question is something that doesn't need an immediate answer and can wait up to 90 minutes for the doctor to call back, press 2.
If you are wanting to schedule an appointment or have a question that can wait until the next office day, please call in the morning, and we will take care of you!

We continue to care for established patients through 22 years of age. If you have been wanting to transfer to our office, now is the time to call. Call us to schedule your new patient appointment. We accept most PPO insurances. We look forward to meeting you soon!
ARE YOU EXPECTING A NEW BABY? CONGRATULATIONS!

Conveniently located in the heart of Glendale, California, next to Glendale Adventist Medical Center, our helpful staff works hard from first contact to make every visit to our office positive.
At Glendale Pediatrics, we believe exceptional care is obtained when there is an on–going relationship between the pediatrician and the patient. We want to be lifelong partners in your child's health. We achieve this goal by listening to you, and through education, promoting a healthy lifestyle for the entire family.

OUR GOAL IS TO PARTNER WITH YOU.
Our eight Pediatricians have different styles and personalities, but we each share a common philosophy of medicine. Our goal is to partner with you in the care of your child. We strive to take the time required to explain different options you have in the care of your child and to help guide you through the different stages of your child’s life.
WE FUNCTION AS A TEAM.
We see patients from birth through 22 years of age. We function as a team and care for one another’s patients, including visiting and examining newborns in the hospital. For Well Child visits, we try to maintain continuity of care for your child with one physician. For Sick Child visits, our priority is to see sick children as soon as possible, and you may see one of the other physicians if your regular physician is not available. When calling to schedule your appointment, please know that we schedule our time with you based on your needs. If you have multiple questions or concerns to discuss with the doctor at a well visit, or you have a complicated sick issue, please let us know so we can schedule additional time to best serve you.
OUR NURSES AND STAFF MEMBERS ARE HERE TO SUPPORT AND ASSIST YOU.
Our office has two waiting rooms, one for well children and one for sick children. During weekday office hours, our triage nurses' primary responsibility is to answer your medical questions. The nurses can often help you decide whether or not an appointment is necessary, what your treatment options are and what symptoms to look for. Please never feel embarrassed to ask us a question, no matter how trivial it may seem. Our nurses and staff members are here to support and assist you.
